The Sign Language Interpreter Advisory Committee (SLIAC) is currently looking to fill the following positions:
3 Deaf/Hard of Hearing members
- One needs to be a graduate of a residential school for the deaf or hard of hearing
- One needs to be a graduate of a private or public school that is not a residential school for the deaf or hard of hearing
2 interpreter members
- 1 representative of an entity that has obtained sign language interpreter services
- Members are appointed by the secretary of The Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS). More information can be found on the SLIAC webpage.
